Description:
A stone monument comprising an obelisk on a pedestal and plinth. The obelisk has a horizontal groove just below the apex and stopped chamfers on the four vertical arrises. The square pedestal is made up from a capstone with slightly hollowed top, a narrower central block and a wider base. The square plinth is plain with a flat top. The 6 o'clock face of the central block bears a recessed bronze plaque with the WW1 inscription in raised upright capital Roman lettering at the head and the namelist in raised upright capital block lettering in a single column below. The 6 o'clock face of the lower block contains the WW2 inscription and name incised in upright capital Roman lettering.
