Description:

Wide wall type base surmounted by female figure crouching in a mourning pose in the centre. Dedicatory tablets set into the front face of the wall. Inscription in black lettering. There is a dedication tablet at top, with names tablets below- a large central one for the Seaforth Highlanders flanked by two smaller ones for other regiments. The WW2 tablets are at the base- a central large one for the Army flanked by two smaller ones for other services. Whole stands within a wood amid wrought iron fenced enclosure with steps leading up to it with a gate at the base. Figure holds a wreath in one hand and rests her chin on the other hand
