Description:
A double gate with a matrix of nine golden winged figures in each section. The central figure is a warrior and the eight surrounding figures are robed. The gate architrave is metal with a gold inscribed lintel above head height. The lintel is braced from the stone arch above. The centre of the lintel supports the figure of Christ descended from the Cross. The surrounding frame of modern construction incorporates a candlestick holder with red piping on each side.
