IN MEMORY OF WILLIAM DONALDSON. SOMETIME OF THE SCOTS GUARDS AND FOR MANY YEARS CAPTAIN AND ADJUTANT AND AFTERWARDS MAJOR OF THE 2ND BATTALION QUEEN'S OWN CAMERON HIGHLANDERS. ALSO AN ELDER OF THE ESTABLISHED CHURCH IN THIS PARISH. BORN 28TH DECEMBER 1818. DIED 23RD SEPTEMBER 1887. HE KNEW HIS DUTY AND LOVED TO DISCHARGE IT WITH FIDELITY AND ZEAL. ERECTED BY HIS BROTHERS OFFICER AND FRIENDS
