Born in Rothesay, Island and Bute 27th Aug 1930 oldest son of James Young Johnson Cameron also Scots Guards (has CWWG headstone in Rothesay).
Joined SG as drummer boy in 1946. Resigned SG 1958 and joined New Zealand army NZ2 (2 years NZ and 2 Malaya) resigned 1962 and rejoined SG an hour later. Resigned 1976 as Captain (QM).
Died 2 Aug 2016 3 weeks short of 86 birthday
