Description:

The Heriot war memorial takes the form of a memorial gateway with two pink granite tablets set into the face of the pillars flanking the entrance gateway to the kirk with the dedication and names of the fallen of WWI, and a third granite blet bearing the names of the fallen of WWII set into the face of the adjacent wall. The dates 1914 and 1919 are also worked into the wrought iron railings of the gate
