Born 5 East Buchanan Street, Paisley, son of Hugh (iron driller) Mary Ann McGhee Devine, resident of 7 Thread Street,
Paisley. Educated St Mirin's R.C. School & member of St Mirin's R.C. Church. Formerly employed in the Anchor Mills
Boxshop Dept. Enlisted at Paisley, September 1914. Suffered bullet wounds & gas-poisoning in France 31st July 1917 & died in London, England.
Buried Paisley (Hawkhead) Cemetery, Renfrewshire. A 1657
