Captain Ernest Pellew Orr-Ewing was abroad when WW1 began He returned and enlisted into Scots Guards in 1915 and was killed in action in an attack on "Flers line" at the Battle of the Somme on 15th Sept. 1916.
Commemorated at the Guards cemetery, LesBoeufs, France. X, Z, 4
