The third son of Lieut.-Colonel F. R. Berridge, D.S.O., M.C., J.P., and Mrs.Berridge, of Castle Farm, Barnwell, Northants.
Educated at Oundle School
1943, to join the Army. After a period of training in Scotland, he went to Germany in January, 1945, and was in much
severe fighting with the 2nd Battalion, The Scots Guards.
He died on the 9th April, 1945, of wounds received in an engagement with enemy paratroops during a reconnaissance patrol
