A new wet room and wheelchair access were needed in the new home of a Guardsman who suffered injuries in Afghanistan that resulted in multiple amputations. The full £31,500 cost of this was met by a grant of £8000 from the Colonel’s Fund with the remainder coming from Help for Heroes and ABF The Soldier’s Charity.
