Description:
Memorial to David Ogilvy, 11th Earl of Airlie with badges of the four regiments in which he served. The Ogilvy family has a prominent burial ground within Cortachy Kirk, part of Cortachy Castle's grounds. Specifically, it's the Ogilvy aisle, located at the east end of the church, which contains 19th-century marble murals honoring the Ogilvys of Airlie. This aisle is built over the site of the older part of the kirk where the Ogilvy family was traditionally buried
