Description:
Elaborate octagonal column market cross containing town coat of arms (Heart and Crown) on square plinth bearing bronze name tablets. The whole set on octagonal four stepped base. There is a dedication plaque, 2 separate plaques for the WW1 names (with a third small, plaque below for 2 extra names), a different plaque for the WW2 names, and a 6th plaque for the Malayan Emergency casualty Burgh arms on top
