Description:
Kilted highland soldier in tam o' shanter with rifle raised 'at the ready', standing on rough hewn stone plinth. Plinth bears names on inset tablets. all mounted on rough hewn stone tapering base. Note that the contemporary image shows the memorial once had railings, presumably removed in the WW2 scrap metal drive. Note also that all attached images are now out of date following the restoration work of June 2018.
